The NGO was registered in the year 2024 as a Non-Governmental Organization under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002 as amended from time to time. The head office is based at Coast Region, Kibaha Town, Tumbi ward, Mwanalugali ‘A’ street, P.O.BOX 30351, Kibaha.

The NGO was established to carter for the needs of the vulnerable, marginalized, voiceless, underprivileged or disadvantaged group. Maxwell Children’s Village (MCV) believes on the existence where there is peace, welfare of children, wealth plenty of food, vegetation, minerals, marine’s life, animals and cultural tourism.

Maxwell Children’s Village (MCV) is governed by a board of directors consisting of seven (7) members. The NGO has also set good environment to offer extra-curricular programmes in the sports and games, mass communication and music skills for the unprivileged children.
